VISUAL MERCHANDISING

The purpose of visual merchandising is to attract, engage and motivate the customer towards making a purchase through the use of strong visual layout in store. Throughout this project I looked into various techniques and creative elements required to enhance the customer retail experience.

 

Within this module I created an idea look book collaborating fashion designers with high street stores with professional floor plans and three-dimensional displays of garments and accessories using InDesign.

 

The visual merchandising was focused on a space age concept collaboration with Swedish brand Acne Studios including orb shaped lighting, seating and props as well as coloured Perspex glass influenced by the sixties space race interior design concept.
